Welcome to the Family, Commoner

Emo/alternative band Commoner is proud to announce their signing with Pure Noise records and alongside their new single Breach.

“This track feels like everything clicked for the band. I had written this chorus in 2024, and had been anxiously awaiting a chance to use it in session. Breach is about coming to the realization that your habits will be outgrown, and as you grow, you will come to live with all that has resulted from your actions.”

Hailing from the Sonoran Desert – Arizona outfit, Commoner, takes a tried and true approach to the new wave of emo. With moshable verses and stadium-friendly choruses, the band has quickly found their respective sound. Garnering attention from media outlets such as Brooklyn Vegan & The Alternative, Commoner continues to focus in on the nostalgia that this genre brings.

Drawing inspiration from David Lynch films, while musically, they lean towards hardcore, early metalcore, and shoegaze bands like Kraus, Loathe, and Static Dress. Commoner’s music delves into themes of false hope, heartbreak, and anger.

The band will be on tour this fall supporting Greyhaven across 22 dates.
